Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of Legalify, operated by Legalify (Finnish sole trader / toiminimi, Y-tunnus 3610308-7, c/o Muuvlaw Oy, Junakatu 9, 20100 Turku, Finland). By creating an account, purchasing tokens, or using the service, you accept these terms.

2. Service Description

Legalify is a GDPR copy risk scanner for EU performance marketing agencies. It provides risk signaling, issue flags, legal signal indicators, and rewrite guidance for campaign copy. Legalify is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for account credentials and all activity under your account. Legalify may suspend or restrict access to protect security, prevent abuse, or enforce these terms.

4. Billing Model

Legalify offers monthly subscription plans (Pro €19/month, Business €87/month) each including a monthly scan token allocation. A free tier is also available with 3 scans per month. Additional token top-ups are available for purchase. Token cost per scan is calculated as max(1, ceil(characters / 2000)).

Tokens are charged only for successful AI-powered scans. If heuristic mode is returned because of fallback conditions (for example AI unavailable), no tokens are charged for that scan. Unused monthly tokens do not roll over to the following billing period.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Token purchases are generally non-refundable after crediting, except where required by law or in case of confirmed billing error. Billing questions can be sent to billing@uselegalify.com.

6. Availability and Fallback

Legalify may run in AI mode or heuristic mode. The service can fall back to heuristic mode when AI services are unavailable or account conditions do not allow AI scan execution. Legalify does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use Legalify for unlawful activity, security attacks, abusive automation, reverse engineering, or activity that degrades service integrity.

8. Intellectual Property

Legalify retains all rights to the platform, software, branding, and service materials. You retain rights to your own submitted marketing content.

9. AI and Legal Disclaimer

Outputs are automated risk signals and may contain inaccuracies. Legalify does not certify legal compliance and does not replace qualified legal counsel. Human compliance review is required before campaign launch.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Legalify is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Legalify is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, regulatory outcomes, or campaign decisions made solely based on automated output.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Legalify may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, payment issues, or security risk.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes are subject to Finnish courts, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legalify and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

Legalify may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
